Player Expectations

Harford United players are expected to give their best effort in every practice and game, showing commitment to improving their skills and contributing to the team's success. They should demonstrate respect for coaches, teammates, opponents, and referees, maintaining a positive and sportsmanlike attitude both on and off the field. Players are also encouraged to embrace a growth mindset, set personal goals, and work together as a team to achieve success.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Technique in soccer allows for greater diversity. Repeating specific technical actions in a game context provides the player with a wide range of skills.


Collective practices and experiences in different game situations aids the player by improving his/her knowledge of the game. Developing game awareness at an early age is crucial.


Reproducing game intensity during training sessions is essential to the improvement of the different types of speed and endurance.


It is important we strive for positive motivation, attitude and mental toughness to aide players with mental toughness, good habits and passion for the game.
